Topic: Security Issues in Sensor Networks Main Goal: . Introduction to sensor networks . Challenges in sensor network . Security Problems faced by Sensor networks . Requirements for sensor network security . Future of sensor networks Scope: A Sensor network is composed of a large number of sensor nodes that are deployed in any type of environment. Recent advancement in wireless communication and electronics has enabled the development of low cost, low power sensor nodes that are small in size and communicate among themselves. The sensor nodes which consist of data sensing, data processing and communicating lead to the development of sensor networks. Sensor networks have been identified as one of the most important technologies for the 21st century. Sensor networks promise viable solutions to many monitoring problems. However, the practical deployment of sensor networks faces many challenges imposed by real-world demands. This paper will introduce the concept of sensor network exploring the key concepts ,the challenges faced by sensor networks .The Paper gives major emphasis in discussing the security problems faced by the sensor networks .A brief view of sensor network security protocol is done with a study of how these protocol are functioning and what are the possible ways to improve security level .
