TOPIC : Connecting wired and wireless networks throughh route distribution

GOALS:


       Now-a-days people are more mobile and hence the need to stay 
connected is becomign a challenging task in this world. Redestribution of routes , aids 
in bridging the gaps between different networks and make them transparent to each 
other.

   wi-fi is a wireless technology that is used to get layer2 connectivity 
in wireless networks. This technology is used in wireless LANs. Ad-hoc wireless 
networks provide on-demand connectivity in a wireless network and increase the scope of 
mobility than a wireless LAN. Wi-fi , Ethernet and other networking technologies provide 
layer2 connectivity. for leyer3 connectivity we need to consider appropriate 
routing protocols in both wired and wireless networks to redestribute,so as to achieve 
connectivity. 




SCOPE:

      >> AODV routing protocol for wireless domains
      >> RIP( Routingn information protocol) for wired networks.
      >> achieving network connectivity between a roaming mobile node and 
	 a fixed infrastructure host, using the  above two protocols.
      >> conclusion
