Title: Topologies for Power Efficient Wireless Sensor Networks Major Goals: 1. what are wireless sensor networks?examples. 2. Need for wireless sensor networks 3.Need for Power Efficient Topologies. 4.Topologies and Protocol Used in these networks. Scope: Wireless sensor networks have become possible because of the on going improvements in the sensor technology and VLSI. One issue in the smart sensor networks is achieving efficient operation because of the limited available power. In this paper we consider the topologies that best support communication among these sensor nodes. we try to visualise a power-aware routing protocol, showing that our routing protocol adapts routs to the available power. This leads to a reduction in the total power used as well as more even distribution of power across nodes. This field is still an area of on going research and in future we can access internet from a moving plane with your laptop for long time. This paper only investigates the avialable topologies and protocols. References: 1. J.Chen, K.M. Sivalingam and P.Agarwal.
