1. Topic
	Handheld Device Security

2. Major goal:
	With the adoption of wireless technologies, handheld device is 
becoming very popular. It is widespread used in business, industry and 
government organizations. As the handheld market expands, so do the 
security risks. Handheld devices are easy to lose or steal. Without 
being encrypted or protected by password, it's easy to access the data 
on the units. Handhelds can be used as wireless conduits to the enterprise 
network if they are commandeered by thieves. The viruses are also a 
significant threat. Therefore, it's absolutely necessary to have some 
strategies to mitigate the security risks associated with the integration 
of wireless technologies into existing computing environments. This paper 
will mainly focus on the security issues of handheld devices and some 
possible protection strategies.

	3) Risk mitigation strategies for handheld devices
	4) A framework for managing user privileges on handheld devices
