| Information about the Computer Science Minor |
The CS minor requires a minimum of 17 hours.
Before taking Computer Science courses, students must first complete both Engl 100 or 101 AND Math 111 (or the equivalent) with a grade of C or better in each course.
If your major is a discipline similar to Computer Science such as, for instance, Electrical Engineering, please be advised that courses that count toward your major cannot also be counted toward the CS minor. Before beginning the minor you should see the Computer Science advisor.

Additional Courses
Choose two additional CS courses at the 300-level or above to make a minimum total of 17 hours. (Please note that 350-level workshops are NOT counted toward meeting the minor requirements.)
