Undergraduate Computer Science Degree Information
The CS Department offers a broad and flexible curriculum that emphasizes core Computer Science technologies and their applications. Students may earn either the Bachelor of Science (BS) or the Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science. Both degrees provide in-depth preparation for professional work in business, industry, or government. The BS degree also provides a good preparation for graduate study in Computer Science or related areas.
Additionally, the CS Department offers a minor and several Competency Certificates.
Please note that students must choose courses carefully to meet all requirements for the major, the College, and the University. Also, students may not take duplicate courses for credit toward any degree.
We strongly urge students majoring in Computer Science to visit an advisor from the CS Department when completing a tentative schedule.
